The 2026 World Chefs Championship brought together 2,389 competitors from more than 42 countries at Persada Johor International Convention Centre in Johor Bahru. Featuring 71 judges and 146 competition categories, the event marked Johor’s fifth time hosting the international championship. WCC 2026 was also officially recognised by ASEAN Records and ASIA Records as the largest recurring international culinary championship based on its participating countries, competing chefs, and judges.
