A fried chicken team from Taichung, Taiwan, competed at the 2026 World Chefs Championship in Malaysia, presenting Taiwanese fried chicken and salted crispy chicken in the Street Food and Homemade Signature Fried Chicken categories. The team achieved an outstanding result of one Super Gold, five Gold, and one Silver medal, bringing the familiar flavours of Taiwanese street food to the international competition stage.
