WCC EXPO 2027 is set to return from 20 to 23 May 2027 at Sutera Mall, East Wing 1F & 2F, Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia, and will once again be held alongside the World Chefs Championship 2027. The event will continue to bring together professionals and businesses from the culinary, food and beverage, hospitality, foodservice, equipment, lifestyle and related industries, creating a platform for industry exchange, product showcasing and international business connections.
Following the international participation and industry connections established in 2026, the second edition of WCC EXPO will continue to strengthen links between the culinary competition and the wider food and hospitality industries. Beyond showcasing products and services, the exhibition aims to provide a meeting point for businesses, brands, industry professionals and international partners to explore new opportunities and develop cross-border connections.
Building on the Success of 2026
The 2026 World Chefs Championship brought together participants from 42 countries, with 2,389 chefs, 71 international judges and competitions across 225 categories.
The event created an international environment where chefs, industry professionals and businesses could connect through competition, professional exchange and industry activities. Taiwanese participants also achieved notable results, including three Best Restaurant awards and one Top Chef award, adding to the international engagement generated during the event.
These achievements have provided a strong foundation for the continued development of WCC EXPO and its international network in 2027.
Expanding International Participation in 2027
Building on the foundation established in 2026, WCC EXPO 2027 will once again combine an international culinary championship with an industry exhibition, bringing together businesses from food and beverage, hospitality, foodservice, equipment and related sectors.
International participation currently includes companies and representatives from Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Australia and Vietnam, with further partnerships and participation expected to be announced as preparations continue.
Through the combination of competition, exhibition and industry networking, WCC EXPO 2027 aims to create opportunities for product presentation, business connections and cross-border collaboration, while strengthening links among companies and professionals from different international markets.
