Yilan Senior High School student Chou Pei-yu won a Silver Medal in the Jam Painting category at the WCC World Culinary Championship 2026 in Malaysia. Her sea turtle and marine ecology artwork combined fine art with culinary creativity while highlighting ocean pollution and environmental awareness. She was later received and commended by Yilan Acting County Magistrate Lin Mao-sheng for bringing recognition to Yilan and Taiwan.
